  We came here for lunch and it was a windy day, so I did not get to sit in their nice patio. But we ordered a very good lunch. I ordered their Chicharon which was served warm and perfectly spiced...Addictive! I then ordered the 1881 Burger served with bacon jam! (Need I say more?) My friend ordered a Caesar salad and this version was good served with fried capers! Fried Capers!! We also ordered Mac N' Cheese. Which was good but we felt the cheese was lacking, which I feel most restaurants do. I also ordered on tap their craft beer Fire N' Fury Red Ale, which was a very nice clean beer. Overall the experience was great the wait staff was awesome! The establishment was cozy and a great gathering place. I must try!

  Chicken & waffles! Try it - if you haven't, you are missing out. The sweet and savory combo is comparable to sea salt and dark chocolate, it just works. Half Hitch is the independent, casual restaurant that Cochrane is missing. Not to be missed, their beer menu is very eclectic, from sour to stout, as well as the famous Half Hitch home brews. To top it off, the service was really great and I felt like they really were proud of what they served. Bravo

  Food was fantastic. Some interesting classics with a twist. Also kids are allowed before 9, defiantly a plus. We will certainly be back.

  Great place. Like their beer. Food was pretty good. Building is really well done. I would give 4.5 if I could.
