  This is Alberta's newest Provincial Park and is not well known. It is a work in progress. I understand that the goal is to eventually link it into the western edge of the Calgary bike path system. Great place for a bike ride but be prepared for the big downhill to get from the parking lot down to the paths closer to the river (and then up hill on the return). Pretty wide open so I would classify it as being best for biking. If I was going for a walk or a hike there are other riverside areas in the the Calgary region that I would prefer.

  Great views of the bow river, nice mix of woodland and open areas. Great for walking the dog. Has visitors center. Interesting old rusting car in the woodland. Pathways can be a little tricky in winter but that's to be expected.

  Great place to ride a bike or go for a nice walk. Took my dog out there and he loved it as well. I just wish the whole place was open, as they had a large area closed because of cattle. This is totally understandable, as it is still a working ranch.
